At Annis Pølsemakeri you can buy delicious sausages and meat products with exciting flavours. Anni’s sausage products have won several prestigious awards, including four gold, two silver, and fire bronze medals at the national championships held by Norway’s meat and poultry association. Delicious condiments from other local producers are also available.
The former Nordic meat-cutting champion, Anni Kristine Byskov, came from Denmark to Norway in the 80s and started working for the renowned sausage manufacturer Leiv Vidar. In 2000 she took over Jan Haugs Pølsemakeri in the village of Ringebu, and started her own business. In 2005 Annis Pølsemakeri won an award for its product in the category for unsmoked cured ham. The ham is processed based on local food traditions, and has been voted a “favourite among Norwegian consumers and Norwegian chefs”.
Next to the sausage factory is the restaurant Annis Spisested where you can enjoy Anni’s excellent ingredients made into delicious dishes and served in welcoming surroundings.
