Gålå Høgfjellshotell is centrally located in Gudbrandsdalen, between Oslo and Trondheim and is one of Norway`s most snow-sure high mountain areas surrounded by spectacular nature and national parks. The hotel offers 42 comfortable rooms and several modern cabins. In winter, you can ski in and ski out to one of Europe's largest and best continuous cross-country ski trails of about 230 km, where large parts are groomed daily. You will find a great alpine resort with 15 slopes in the immediate nearby, and the area offers a wide range of activities year-round; from cycling, fishing and hiking to events such as the mountain festival Rondaståk and the play Peer Gynt. The hotel is a good place for courses and conferences, in addition to weddings and other special occasions.

Gålå Høgfjellshotell has a high focus on food and hospitality, where the menu is largely based on "untraveled" ingredients from Lake Gålåvatnet, which you have a view of from the restaurant, the family farm and the surrounding area as far as possible. The hotel has easy access by car and is located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lillehammer, 3 hours and 20 minutes from Oslo, 4 hours from Trondheim and 2 hours from Åndalsnes. The nearest train station is Vinstra, and the hotel has good parking facilities for guests arriving by car.
