In the summer of 2019, the well-over 2,000 square meter new vehicle history museum opened at the Norwegian Road Museum.
Over 80 historic vehicles and 60 bicycles are on display in the new museum and several of them are built in Norway. The museum tells the story of the approximately 20 different Norwegian companies attempting to establish Norwegian car production. Here you get the story of the Bjering car from Gjøvik, Stavern's electric trucks, Troll from Telemark, Mustad's six-wheeled giant and electric Think. Here you also get a wide selection of vehicles from different ages in addition to royal vehicles and race cars. You can also see the Norwegian-produced bicycle brands, there are many of them.
The museum has free entrance!
